India has so many beautiful monument like Taj Mahal, red fort , Mehrangarh fort, india gate , delhi gate , red fort of Agra , gateway of India and more . Everyone knows that Taj Mahal is most visited place in india but have you wonder who holds the second place ? It is a Mysore palace who holds the second place in the terms of visitor. Mysore palace is situated in Mysore in the state of Karnataka in india . Mysore palace is the main centre of Mysore and also it is a official residence of wadiyar dynasty. It is a historical palace and royal residence with great Heritage . Architectural style of Mysore palace is same as gate way of India and Taj Mahal hotel in mumbai which has indo saracenic style . The construction of Mysore palace was started in 1897 which was commissioned by Maharaja Krishnaraja wodeyar and his mother Maharani Kempananjammani devi and whole temple was completed in 1912. Jaipur is known in whole world due to its culture and hospitality. It is also known as pink city due to its buildings appearance which was painted by sawai ram singh in order to welcome Albert Edward in 1876. Jaipur city is situated in the state of Rajasthan in India. It is also capital of Rajasthan. Jai Singh after whom the name Jaipur is given shifted his capital from amer to jaipur due to the scarcity of water . Jaipur construction is well planned and it is based on vastu shastra and shilpa shastra . Vidhyadhar Bhattacharyya was the architect of jaipur . Jaipur was established in 1727. The whole city was divided into 9 blocks in which except palace and buildings the whole 7 block was allotted for public. TAJ -UL- MASJID , BHOPAL, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA

During the reign of Mughal Empire the emperor has created so many beautiful monument and mosques ( Islam worship place) . Like Taj Mahal , Jama masjid, delhi gate, red fort and Taj - ul - masjid . But the Taj -UL- MASJID was the largest mosques build by mughals in bhopal in the state of Madhya Pradesh in india . The architecture style  of this monument is indo - islamic style or Mughal style . The whole construction of mosques took so much time to built due the insufficient fund .  The construction of this mosque was started in reign of Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar by shah jehan Begum but remained incomplete due to less funds. In Mughal period the mosque was funded by sultan Shah Jahan , bahadur shah Zafar and begam of bhopal . The site comprises two minarets and 3 domes . Lord shiva is considered as most Prominent god in hindu mythology. Lord Shiva also known as mahadev ( god of God ) . In past, king were also so  fascinated with the lord shiva so in order to worship lord they constructed the temple ,statue and lingam . BHOJESHWAR TEMPLE is also one of this example which is situated in raisen district in the state of Madhya Pradesh in india. Bhojeshwar temple is dedicated to lord shiva and also the temple sanctum has linga which is 7.5 feet high and 17.8 Feet in circumference. KONARK SUN TEMPLE: It is situated in puri in the state of Odisha in india . It is a sun temple ( surya mandir) which was built in 13 century CE . Konark sun temple is dedicated to deity surya . Temple has Kalinga architecture and was built by narasimhadeva in 1250 CE. This temple was declared UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984. JAGANNATH PURI :  India is known for its culture, diversity , mythologies and temples  . When it comes to temples we have plenty of stories associated with it . Now talking about Jagannath Puri, it is associated with lord krishna ( form of vishnu) .  Now let's take a glance about this place .It situated in puri in the state of Odisha in india. Jagannath Puri temple is dedicated to lord Jagannath form of vishnu . Jagannath Puri has Kalinga architecture and created by indradyamna which was completed in 1161 CE. It is a Hindu temple . DHAULI SANTI STUPA: It is situated in Bhubaneswar in the state of Odisha in india. It is also known as peace pagoda or santi pagoda . It is located on the bank of daya river . The construction of stupa is assisted by fuji guruji . Stupa consist Buddhist sculptures and elephant cut rock which is earliest budha sculptures. It is also said that king Ashoka fought here and during battle whole daya river became red because of blood . This is the place where Ashoka given up the idea of war and accepted the way of peace.
